SMALL GESTURES
BIG OUTCOMES

A young woman with long brown hair and a black jacket holding a crocheted teddy bear against a red brick wall.

The Reggie Foundation started with a simple act of kindness - a crocheted bear made by one of our students, Sophie.

That bear, now known as Reggie, became a symbol of comfort, support, and care within the school.

What began as something small grew into something we wanted to share beyond our classes.

OUR SELECTED CHARITIES FOR

SUMMER TERM 2026

SO FAR WE’VE DONATED

What are reggie foundation products?

  • A bear mascot in a black sports uniform, sitting with legs spread, holding a white sword, inside a circular logo with green and brown background. The logo says, 'The Refugee Gift Foundation' and 'EST. 2024'.

    How it all began.

The Reggie Foundation began with a crocheted bear named Reggie, loved by students as a symbol of comfort and kindness. Reggie is now expanding his positive impact beyond our school.

  • A cartoon teddy bear wearing a black martial arts gi with a white belt, sitting with legs apart. Below are three raised hands with dollar signs above, and three coins with dollar signs.

    What's the deal?

At the start of each new term, every student receives a ‘Reggie Token’ worth £1. Students can then choose one of three charities to support that term by placing their token in one of our collection tubes. Reggie then counts the tokens and donates the corresponding amount to each charity.

  • A logo for The Reggie Fieg Foundation featuring a cute teddy bear wearing football gear, sitting behind a large pile of gold coins with a dollar sign on one coin.

    But that's not all!

Additional funds are raised throughout the year through sales of student-made products in our online shop and at various school events. This additional money is then pooled and distributed equally among our three charities each term.
