All of these rehearsals will take place at Caterham Community Centre, High St, Caterham CR3 5UE.

SCHEDULE

This schedule is specific to your class - please read it carefully to know when you/your performer are needed during show weekend.

All of the below will take place at Woldingham Girls’ School (CR3 7LR). Allow extra travel time, including the 2-mile drive that leads to the venue.

We cannot delay for late arrivals—being late may mean missing rehearsals or class photos.

  • 3:40pm - 4:15pm - TECH/DRESS REHEARSAL

    This is a full run with costumes, lighting, and sound, and when class photos will be taken.

    Please arrive in full costume with hair done. (Costumes will be given out in the final class before show weekend.)

    Each class is only needed for a short time - we can’t wait for late arrivals.

    Parents must stay and watch the rehearsal. Please remain with your child at all times.

  • 5:15pm - 8:35pm - SHOW DAY


    Drop off your child (in costume with hair done) at the clearly signposted drop-off point at 5:15pm.

    Children will be supervised by chaperones in dressing rooms—no parents allowed inside due to safeguarding.

    What to pack (in one clearly named bag):

    • Plenty of food/snacks (strictly no nuts or bananas due to severe allergies)

    • Non-messy items only—nothing that could stain costumes

    • Plenty of bottled water

    • Quiet activities (e.g. books, colouring, or devices—at your own risk)
      PLEASE ENSURE ALL APPS ON DEVICES ARE AGE APPROPRIATE

    SHOW STARTS: 6:15pm
    SHOW ENDS: 8:35pm

    You will collect your child from the stage at the end of the show.

  • 1:00pm - 4:20pm - SHOW DAY

    Performers are required for both the matinee and evening performance on this day.

    Drop off your child (in costume with hair done) at the clearly signposted drop-off point at 1:00pm.

    Children will be supervised by chaperones in dressing rooms—no parents allowed inside due to safeguarding.

    What to pack (in one clearly named bag):

    • Plenty of food/snacks (strictly no nuts or bananas due to severe allergies)

    • Non-messy items only—nothing that could stain costumes

    • Plenty of bottled water

    • Quiet activities (e.g. books, colouring, or devices—at your own risk)

    MATINEE STARTS: 2:00pm
    MATINEE ENDS:4:20pm (Approx.)

    You will pick up your child from the stage at the end of the matinee performance and return them in time for the evening show.

    RETURN AT 5:45PM READY FOR THE EVENING SHOW

    EVENING SHOW STARTS: 6:15pm
    EVENING SHOW ENDS: 8:35pm(Approx.)

    You will collect your child from the stage at the end of the show.

CHECKLIST

If you do multiple classes please check each one carefully as they all differ.

CLOTHING

  • Tap shoes

  • Plain black socks

HAIR / MAKE-UP ETC.

  • Hair - Half up half down in any style as long as it’s neat/slicked back and most hair is off the face.

  • Clear hair bands or hair bands that blend with your own hair colour.

  • NO JEWELLERY - Stud earrings only.
